We refused to let another summer pass without hitting the over-priced, carny-food purveying, stomach flip inducing Elitch Gardens amusement park! Highlights include a “video game” ride that slowly carted our group through black light target shooting action (cannot believe this counted as a “ride”), surviving the wooden Twister II, and FUNNEL CAKE!! Glad the park’s no longer crawlin’ with Six Flags characters but still miss the old location of my youth – where they had actual botanic gardens. Now the only foliage is used to hide the Smoking Sections.
