I have a major crush on Professor BlastOff – an Earwolf podcast of three comedian friends in a “hatch” discussing topics of science/philosophy/metaphysics in a collaborative improv/stand-up way. Tig, David, and Kyle create the best combination of curiosity, levity, and goof. They sometimes invite experts on the show to inject some “real” knowledge and other times they just bring on their fellow comedian friends. It’s the belly achingly hilarious companion to my old fav Radiolab. The vibe of the whole show is playful and fun and not without it’s aha moments. It’s been out there since 2011 but I just discovered it after some research following a mention of Tig Notaro on Fresh Air and her appearance on a recent This American Life episode. Anyway, you should be listening to this show if you’re not already and contribute money to keep it going.
