I’m on a recent kick of giving experiences for gifts…which sometimes entails delivering a gift card for a future experience. But this time instead of the traditional gift certificate nestled in an envelope, I thought it better suited the gift of an evening of drinks and eats at Denver’s Williams & Graham – a sultry hidden bar accessed through a secret door in a bookcase – to enclose a gift card inside a book safe. I found a sturdy and deceiving one made out of metal and equipped with a key but another option would have been to create a hollow book with an old book from the thrift store. There are tons of instructionals online to follow – so I may still try to make one in case I’m looking to send another friend on a Williams & Graham experience – it’s an experience worth devoting an entire book to.
