Inaugural bicycle “gang” meeting held at 4pm today at the DoChamp residence (specifically the garage turned clubhouse in the backyard)

Minutes as followed:
– Anarchy instituted as philosophy of choice, hence no election of leader
– General tinkering w/ tools, passing around of lube, pumping of air into tires
– Univega gets new seat, non-member’s bicycle bearings are lubed
– Late arrival by a founding member, apology accepted
– Sharing of major spills and ills of fixed gear riding
– Brief banter and overall acceptance of suggested gang name “The Flying Gutter Monkeys” followed by musings on logo design, hoodies with screen printed wings noted as possibility
– Christening of bicycles and induction of present members, consisted of a ritual in solidarity of sloppily shotgunning a PBR seconded by languidly tossing the empty can towards now “tougher” bike
– Cheers of acceptance shatter “first day as bike gang” nerves
– Borrowing of lady leg warmers and too tight hoodie by two of the male members to prep for Inaugural Ride
– Inaugural Gang Ride, a no-direction loose formation bicycle group ride through downtown Denver and Capital Hill (with your faithful minutes writer holding down the rear), highlighted by a failed removal of foot from stirrup by a fixed gear riding founding member ending in a concrete body slam and supportive laughter
– Dismount and lock up at popular Capital Hill bar Gabor’s
– Minutes writer departs, other members think/drink further on the alliance, specifics of bar stay not recorded
