Team Firefox, Denver’s 80s dance ensemble (famous for being purposefully “mediocre”), paid an honest tribute to the late King of Pop at the Denver Art Museum’s July mixed-media event Untitled #23 (Old School). Performing a crowd pleasing dance routine to a five song medley with signature Michael Jackson moves from “Rock My World”, “Beat It”, “Ben”, “Smooth Criminal”, “Black or White”, and “Thriller” – okay, the moves in “Ben” were entirely Firefox designed – these 80s lovin’ ladies proved they’re not afraid to take on the challenges of the most-beloved dance moves of their favorite decade.
