To my dismay, wizards beat vampires in a local debate. Â Buntport Theater assembled two panels of local “experts” to battle out the superiority of the two supernatural beings as part of a new installment to their Third Thursdays performances. Â I admit, the wizards had me enchanted by their long list of human-helping products that have been named after wizards and the imaginative rainbow-colored unicorn-riding events of spending a day with a wizard. Â But when it came time to vote, I couldn’t give up my allegiance to the dark, seductive edge of vampire fantasy. Â Perhaps it’s because they’ve yet to cast Gary Oldman as a wizard…
