I know this idea has been done over and over again but here is my version of the chair planter. I thought it was kismet that those 14″ wire hanging baskets with the coco lining fit perfectly into the seat…saved me a lot of finagling. Since we’re trying to keep water off the deck as much as we can, I found a couple of styling ceramic cake/pie pans at the second hand store to catch the overfill. These flowers are only annuals…it would be great to create a succulent garden in a chair for year long appeal or even an indoor planter. If I lived in a wetter climate, I would go for one of these moss chairs – check it. Oh, the possibilities.
